About Amy

I am currently available to be a caregiver for children when parents or guardians need a break or have night or weekend plans. I am not available for full time services due to my cleaning clients on care. com, but I'd love to help people in need of occasional caregiving. I have been a caregiver one to three days a week for a 4-year-old boy for 3 years now. We love going to the library for playdates and storytime, the museum center, the zoo, and local parks. I strive to keep the child engaged, entertained, and learning while I am with him. I also have him help clean up after himself and learn to do tasks on his own. I have a 9-year-old daughter, who is enrolled in a Montessori school. I use those practices and beliefs while watching the child. We keep scheduled lunch and nap times to help keep him in a good rhythm and avoid meltdowns. He's always excited for our time together and I'm excited to be able to help parents out there to get a much deserved break.
