About Ana

I am an active American Red Cross volunteer who loves helping others, especially elders. Growing up I had to take care of my grandmother since both of my parents worked. I loved her dearly, she meant the world to me. ince the age of 9 I remember getting things for her and helped her get dressed. As the years went by she got worse. I cooked, cleaned, bathed her, what didn't I do for my grandma. She got so sick that then she passed away. I always told myself that I would help others like I did my grandma. I have this thing for elders it's like a weakness. I love helping them and being around them because not only does it makes me feel good but because you can learn so much from them. They are very knowledgeable. They know so much yet can only do limited things. I want to keep making a difference in more peoples lives like I did with my grandma, may she rest in peace.
