I know how to change diapers, how to take care of children with colds, soothe and calm them, and I love when I can not only make them smile & laugh, but to teach them things as well. I know how to care for a child of any age. When I go to family gatherings, I always find myself taking care of the younger children there and making sure they are safe and having a good time. Luisa was so great with my infant son! He was all smiles with her, and he slept better than he has in weeks after she left (I think because of all the mental stimulation he got playing with her). I also really appreciate that she was willing to speak to him in spanish.
