About Andrea

I am personally in graduate school in the health sciences and would love to share my passion for learning with your child. I tutor Math up to Calculus, Physics, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and SAT prep. I have 7 years of paid and 3 years volunteer tutoring experience for a total of 10 years tutoring experience. I am highly organized and astute in determining the unique needs of each of my students and adapting to their learning style, whether that be via problem based learning or a lecture format. I've worked mostly with high school/college students & occasionally middle school. I focus on developing a strong foundational understanding of scientific concepts so that students feel confident in the material they are learning. My students' grades have all dramatically improved but what I am most proud of is that they frequently tell me how much they enjoy the subject that was once daunting to them.
