I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and kind. I like caring for others because each day I make a positive impact in their life. My grandfather (brain tumor) was my first senior patient. While other teens only took care of young kids, I also took care of their elders. Over the years, I've cared for patients with cancer, Alzheimer's, dementia, autoimmune disorders, hospice, and physical injuries or disabilities as well. My approach is whole patient care, treating the individual with empathy, compassion, and evidence-based best practices in care. I've also had decades of animal care & handling: dogs & cats, as well as wildlife. If you have pets, I'm not allergic to them! One thing you should know about me is that caring for someone is not simply a job - it's part of who I am.
