About Ashley

I'm looking for a job that will allow for a fun filled and sometimes educational summer. I'm also looking for a job that will allow me to continue to care for my daughter. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. My first babysitting job I babysat three girls and continued to babysit them for two years ages 5, 8, and 10. In high school I also babysat three boys for a year ages 4, 6, and 9. Also I am now the proud mother of a beautiful, 9-year-old girl. In my spare time, I like to go to parks and go on hikes with my daughter. I also enjoy cooking and baking. One thing you should know about me is I believe every child deserves adults that are willing to listen, understand and be compassionate in their lives. I believe adults should be able to listen to a child and demonstrate empathy as well as structure. Allowing the child to feel safe, heard, and able to step into their personalities. My skills include patience, communication, and flexibility.
