About Ashley

I'd describe my personality as positive, ambitious and dependable. I would like to tutor because I love seeing improvement over time. I have utilized a tutor before (organic chem) and it was invaluable. I want to give back and help someone like my tutor helped me. I have not officially tutored before, but I used to tutor my sister (who has Down syndrome) before I left for college. I also coached young girls in lacrosse for the last 4 years (ages 10-16) so I have experience in mentoring and leadership. In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, read and hang out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm very adaptable and creative. I have ADHD and have many tips and tricks that have helped me succeed in the classroom. Graduated in May of 2024 with a BS in Biology and German minor from UVA. I participated in brain cancer research with UVAs medical school, and I am currently employed as a research associate at MITs Koch Institute.
