About Autumn

I have seven years of professional work with children as well as several more years of babysitting experience. I have experience working with children with disabilities, nonverbal communication, low mobility, and other accommodations. I have CPR training and am certified in BLS. I'd describe my personality as calm, patient, friendly. I started developing a passion for working with children when my youngest brother was diagnosed with autism and I began developing his language skills with him. I'm looking for a job that is fun and works around my schedule as I am enrolled in college and hope to become a Speech Therapist. I started working with kids when I was as young as 13. I began babysitting my younger brother and small cousins and continued on in my professional career. My skills include being patient and calm, understanding that behavior is typically communication, and having a ton of silly games in my back pocket.
