Hi there and welcome to my profile! Around 2 years ago my grandmother had a stroke and was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. During that time she was in and out of the hospital and ended up needed to go to a memory care facility. My grandmother being the strong willed women she was would often decide that the hospital or senior living facility was not the place for her to be. She could sometimes be a handful for there nurses and that is where I came into the picture. For about 3/4 months I helped her with her daily tasks including bathroom breaks, getting her changed, bathing, medication administration and of course showing her patience, love and affection. I understand that as our love ones get older that can often times require more care and I believe I am the perfect person for that role. I am often told I am kind, hard working and most importantly patience. I would love the opportunity to not only help your loved one but also the rest of your family.
