I worked with an elderly family for five years. The gentleman I worked with his care involved getting him up, helping him bathe and dress. I also helped him with fine motor skills. * This was part of his treatment plan. I also helped his mom. His mom had mild dementia and was in her late nineties. I would make her meals and do light housekeeping for her. I also gave both of them their medications as prescribed. I would also listen to her talk and talk with her. She was completely homebound with the exception of some Dr's appointments. I also have unpaid experience with caring for someone with spinal cord injury.
