About Brenda

I am a compassionate and energetic caregiver with 20+ years experience caring for children. Working with kids is my calling and I am blessed to have so many opportunities to do so through my jobs and volunteer work. I am a certified teacher for pre-K through grade 3, who previously taught grades 1 and 3. I am currently a master substitute teacher with experience from pre-K to adult education. I am fun and enthusiastic, but I take my responsibility to provide the best care for the families I serve very seriously. I always manage behavior in a loving, yet firm way that encourages a child to make a better choice in the future and never makes them feel insignificant or not valued. Children are just little humans who need to be nurtured, guided, and respected. I am currently looking for part-time nanny positions, vacation nanny jobs, occasional babysitting, and tutoring jobs.
