About Brenda

My work experience is quite diverse. I worked with a family with 4 children from 5-12 yrs old, inner city children, teenage runaways and currently work with individuals with disabilities such as autism, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, etc. The care provided to individuals and their families may include daily care, transportation to/from appointments/activities/school, nurturing, cooking, laundry, pet care, traveling and fun. Providing support for individuals and their families takes a special kind of person, one who possess qualities such as compassion, patience, understanding, flexibility, adaptability, a sense of humor and someone who sincerely enjoys working with individuals and their families. My forte is working in the special education field with individuals with special needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified and am also a legal guardian for a gentleman with developmental disabilities.
