About Brittany

I'm a certified Teacher who is passionate about teaching Music, Reading, Ec-6 Core Curriculum (Math, Science, Social Studies, ELA) and Life Skills to students with a wide range of learning styles. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University and am currently pursuing a Master of Music Therapy at TWU, where classical guitar is my primary instrument. In addition to the guitar, I play the flute, ukulele, and some piano. I also have a strong background in teaching reading and special education. I hold Texas teacher certifications in Early Childhood through 6th Grade, Science of Teaching Reading, and Early Childhood through 12th Grade Special Education. With three years of experience as a classroom special education teacher in public education and nearly 10 years of experience teaching Music, Reading, and Life Skills in a one on one setting to students with and without disabilities, I bring a diverse skill set and extensive background to my work.
