About Brittney

Over the past 10 years I have tutored, coached tutors, taught, led a school, and developed curriculum. For the past 6. 5 years I have spent my time relentlessly working to ensure that all students at my school had access to rigorous texts and the skills they needed to be literate leaders of our community. I have expertise in teaching English Language Arts but I also know what it is like to struggle as a learner. Due to my own struggles as a learner, I have strategies to share with others who struggle to learn and excel academically as well. Not only am I a skilled educator, I am also a relationship builder. I build strong relationships with my students and their families because I believe that without trust and love, students can't learn or work up to their potential. I cannot wait to bring trust, love, motivation and challenge to the work I will do with yourself or your children.
