About Brook

Hi, I am a strong independent woman who is driven, smart, hard working, and a great communicator. I'm also very nurturing and love helping people in any way I can. I do great with infants, children, and elders. I have experience raising my God-daughter from newborn until 2 years old, while her and her mom lived with me. I have also babysat kids in the family many times. At age 18, I cared for my 94-year-old grandmother 2 days a week until she moved into the nursing home. I helped her get out of bed, cooked, administered meds, etc. When I was a teenager, I went through a red-cross babysitting class and also became CPR certified (not sure how long that certification lasts). I am very nurturing and find joy in spending time with little ones. I am currently a server in a restaurant and have been for the past 8 years. I'm feeling burned out with the restaurant industry and am looking for a change of career. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
