About Brooke

Growing up, my grandparents lived in an in-law apartment attached to my house. I owe a great deal of who I am to them, and to my parents as well. Just recently, my grandpa has moved to a handicap friendly apartment. I realized after one short semester in Maine, three hours away from my grandpa, I wanted to come back home. I felt a great deal of responsibility to take care of him. I truly believe my daily check-ins make a difference. I like to keep him moving and mostly keep him company. I have seen first hand how hard it can be for seniors to slow down and not be able to do everything they once could. I would love to extend my companionship, helping hands, and friendly smile to other seniors in my community. I have no experience regarding the medical side of caring for seniors, but I am a quick learner with a "can-do" attitude. I am organized, patient, enthusiastic, and responsible.
