About Brooke

I'd describe my personality as warm, enthusiastic, and adaptable. I like working with kids because I love to watch them grow, their questions, their excitement for life, and their honesty. I'm looking for a job in which the parents are trusting of me. I also am looking for some flexibility in the job, and clear communication. I started working with kids when I was 19, but I grew up as the oldest of six and have been babysitting my siblings and for other people since I was 9. In my spare time, I like to read, be with my family, and bake/ cook. One thing you should know about me is I have medical experience. I am CPR certified and have worked at two nursing homes and a hospital. I do well in emergency situations. My skills include encouragement, patience, and teaching. In high school I helped out with first and second graders at my school and gained some experience teaching. I also love to give encouraging words, to anyone, but especially when a child does something well.
