About Caitlin

I have a cumulative 6 years of health care experience. I started as a CNA working primarily Alzheimer's patients in a long term facility setting for two years (along with working with regular long term facility residents). I then started working in a hospital on a surgical floor with pre/post operative patients, but I did float to all of the floors in the hospital including neuro, medical/oncology, rehab, cardiac and ortho/spine. I also worked with two home health agencies at the time working with a quadriplegic client and a client recovering from a stroke. During COVID I moved to Portland Oregon and worked for an agency that staffed multiple long term care and mental health facilities in the Portland metro area. After I graduated nursing school I began working on a cardiac/ICU stepdown unit for 1. 5 years before moving to York, Maine and starting a job at Maine Medical Center in Portland on the cardiothoracic ICU. I am passionate about this field and the community I am able to serve.
