About Camila

I like working with kids because ever since I was younger children have gravitated towards me. I have a lot of patience with them and enjoy watching them learn new things as they develop new skills. I started working with kids after graduating college. I began working as a STEM Instructor at an after school program. I have experience with all age groups thanks to this and other babysitting jobs I have had. In my spare time, I like to do Pilates, read, do outside activities, shop, and spend time with family and friends. My skills include patience, I've learned that redirection is the best way to get a child to do something but it takes a lot of patience through talk them through things. With experience in teaching I can also focus on activities that will provide a learning experience depending on what the child likes. I also do my best to quickly learn about the child so that I can better come up with activities that they would enjoy and interact with.
