About Candis

As a parent myself, I pride myself on how gentle, patient, and understanding I am towards not only children, but people as a whole. I cherish the privilege of getting to watch and help encourage growth, development and new milestones being met on the daily! I'm looking for a job that is structured, but flexible, as I am a full-time/hands-on mother who is self employed. I started working with kids when I was about 16 years old. I began with babysitting and very quickly obtained a well-trusted reputation working with children of all age ranges. After babysitting, I took on the role of nanny where I incorporated housekeeping and homeschooling into my self-employment. A couple of things you should know about me is that one, I'm adopted! Two, I have experience with children who are on the spectrum, as well as sensory and overstimulation. Lastly, I worked in a hospital where I received my CPR certification.
