About Cara

I used to work at the Winona State Children's Center. I was an assistant teacher in the infant and the toddler room. I also had a practicum in the preschool room. As the assistant teacher I cared for the children and also provided activities that provided developmental learning for the children. I was able to work with children from 6 weeks old to 4 years old. I have also just finished student teaching in Costa Rica. I taught 3rd grade students. I also assisted in the 1st-5th grade classrooms. While there, I was able to pick up on some Spanish. I was a playground supervisor at an elementary school in Winona. I taught the students some games and activities to keep them active. I also tutored a 6th grade student. I helped her with her math homework.
