I'm a Poetry and V. A. Teacher (2nd-8th) working in the Bronx w/ 15 years childcare experience. I've worked with children as young as a week old to children as old as 12- I'm comfortable with caring for any age. I believe in kids learning through play. I'll sing & dance with them, or maybe turn an old box into a rocket ship to fly to the moon! In my opinion, kids need to use that amazing imagination they have while they still can. I think art & music are so important in kids day to day life- even babies can craft! I've worked in daycares caring for multiple little ones (5mo-13mo) at a time, so am comfortable with multiples. Privately, I've helped with potty training, tummy time, & baby rehab. I'm fluent in "Spanglish" & semi-fluent in ASL (very pro baby ASL!) I have my own car & am comfortable with carpooling.
