About Carlie

My name is Carlie and I am moving to the Illinois/Iowa area in May and looking for a part-time position. I have many years of childcare experience. Recently, I spent over a year working with children in Homer, Alaska through the community's mental health center. I supported and helped the kids grow both in and out of school. I have experience working with children of all ages and have taken courses on child development through past employers and through Virginia Tech, where I graduated with degrees in both Psychology and Sociology. I have worked full time at Reston Children's Center, a respected daycare in the D. C. area. I have also babysat and nannied children of all ages as well as volunteered with homeless children and as a mentor to girls in middle school.
