Hi families! I am a mother of older children: one in college, one in high school, and a middle schooler. I home school my youngest, and I would love to open up my home to a family who needs a safe, warm, loving environment for their infant or toddler during the day. I know from experience how important it is to have stable and nurturing child care available to you. I live in an old Spanish style home with lots of sunlight. We live on a quiet street in South Pasadena. I raised my own kids with gentle parenting and Montessori-style learning opportunities. Most of all, I am a huge proponent of reading early and often to children! I am an experienced librarian with an MLIS, so I am especially passionate about books for the little ones. It is never to early to read aloud and provide books to play with! I still have a large children's collection from when my own were little. Let me know if I sound like a good fit, and we can connect.
