About Celene

Hello! I am an extremely responsible, attentive, reliable, and professional individual with vast real-world experiences working with children. For the last 7 years, I have served as a K-12 guest teacher in 7 unified school districts. I have worked with diverse groups of students from all ethnicities, ages, and socioeconomic levels-including students with special needs, emotional disorders, learning, and mental impairments-- which has taught me to think quickly on my feet, be creative, flexible, and extra attentive to each student's personalities and learning styles. Additionally, I have a graduate degree in Psychological Sciences. I work at UCSD as a research associate to understand how the brain develops over time via (cognitive tasks, electrophysiology, eye-tracking measures). Resourcefully, I constantly find ways to implement my accrued academic & teaching skills to provide a nurturing, safe, and uniquely geared interactive approach for all children and adolescents.
