About Charlena

I'd describe my personality as calm, creative, goofy. I started working with kids when I was 14, volunteering at the elementary school and early education program I attended. At 18 years old I started working as a teachers aide through college. I grew to be teacher qualified and am now currently an early childhood educator. One thing you should know about me is I am CPR and first aid qualified. My skills include I practice unpacking and talk through those big emotions and provide tools on how to communicate, express and process them in the best way. I am very creative and can go with the flow to allow a healthy amount of child lead activities. Which allows them creative freedom to learn, grow, and explore. Lastly, I truly enjoy working with children it's something that I'm passionate about. To me that means I was made to do jobs like this. That makes all the difference in those difficult moments and on days where life, life's a little harder.
