About Charlize

As a caregiver, I am motivated by my previous babysitting roles where I got to support families by providing a helping hand. Furthermore, all my life I have been responsible for taking care of my special needs sibling and it really helped me gain experience with independence and child care. I consider myself a patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable caregiver. I believe in open communication with parents regarding their child's day and any issues that arise, and I follow their preferred communication method, whether it's written daily reports or regular updates via text or phone call. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games and puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps.
