About Charlotte

Hi there! My experience with children began in earnest during high school and continued through college while working as a certified lifeguard and swim instructor for a sports summer camp. After graduating with my B. S. from Cornell in 2018, I got a job as an assistant teacher in an infant/toddler classroom at a nature-based preschool. Wanting to continue exploring my passion for education and nature, I then spent the next few years as a full-time K-12 environmental educator at a nature center in Connecticut where I was responsible for developing and leading the parent-child art class. This allowed me to explore my own creativity and facilitate meaningful connections between families, art, and the outdoors. I'm now employed in the instructional design field, and I feel confident that my diverse experiences will serve me well as I seek to fill my outside hours with new childcare opportunities.
