About Cheri

I am an experienced/professional "career" nanny with extensive experience working with Philadelphia area families and their children. I will consider full-time, part-time, occasional, or temp work. I have mainly cared for infants/toddlers (experience with twins!) to pre-school age. I also have experience with elementary-age children. I have a bachelor's degree and will be completing graduate work in early childhood education. I believe in lots of personal attention through age-appropriate activities, and ongoing communication no matter the age of the child in my care. I am a musician and photographer and love to incorporate these hobbies into my work with children. I am currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. In addition, I have performed other duties for busy families when needed.

I had the pleasure to meet Cheri a few weeks before and have her meet my son. She was sweet, kind and exactly what you would expect a babysitter to be. She arrived on time and my Son asked to play with her right away. My Son was resistant to being changed and she handled that as best as she could. She kept us updated on everything and asked for advice on how to handle certain situations. We would definitely hire her again if she was available.
