About Cheryl

I am a Masters Level Early Childhood Special Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience working with young children with special needs and their families in both home and community settings. I specialize in the education of young children with developmental delays, behavior challenges, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I have provided consultation to schools, coaching to families, supervised teachers, and taught masters level college students. I'm looking to expand my work to families who are in need of with childcare while also addressing therapeutic / educational goals. I'm relentlessly optimistic, creative and supportive and embed learning across all activities in a day. I'm available part time over the summer months with the potential for late afternoon, evenings and weekends during the school year. As a former singer and music educator, I'm also passionate about music and believe in the benefits it has for all people.
