About Cheryl

I have been a charge nurse for the last 15 years which consists of leading a team of nurses, certified nursing assistants, and caring for 19 patients in a long term care setting. I also have extensive sub-acute care experience and have worked in the hospital setting. I love caring for the elderly. I can truly appreciate their contributions to the world and their vast life experiences. I also take great pride in taking care of chronically ill patients. I enjoy providing the best environment that I can for them. I feel like I can make a difference in their life. I know how to provide hands on care from showering to tracheotomy care. I can perform comprehensive assessments and intervene accordingly to provide maximum functioning and comfort for my patient. I am also very skilled in working with behavioral issues and dementia. I am very knowledgeable in pharmacology and wound care. I also have a passion for end of life care. I believe in maintain the dignity of my patient above all else.
