Hi there! I'm Christy. Thanks for stopping by! :) I graduated from North Park University in Chicago, IL, in May of 2013. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have a minor in English & an endorsement in Special Education. I'm loving, well-mannered, kind, reliable, caring, trustworthy, dependent and responsible. I have a huge heart for kids and I'm happiest when I'm around them; I love helping them & watching them grow. I believe that I'm a positive role model for kids. I have tutored elementary aged kids in reading and math. I was certified in CPR & First Aid but need to get recertified. I have also taken Bloodborne Pathogen, SIDS and Child Abuse and Neglect courses. I've babysat kids with disabilities before (Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Down Syndrome). I have experience with premature babies, newborns, twins, toddlers and older children.
