About Clara

Hi! My name is Clara, and I am a Junior at Cornell. I love getting to work with children and families, and am excited to connect with those in Ithaca this summer! Aside from babysitting for neighborhood families back home, I have professional experience working with children of all ages. I spent five years working as a teaching assistant (for ages 7-9) and daycare provider (for ages 3-6) at a community program in high school, spent two summers as a sleep away camp counselor to children ages 10-14, coached at an academic summer camp for high schoolers, and was a head counselor at a day camp last summer working with 7-year-olds! I love doing crafts and playing games, and I'm comfortable helping with homework as well. I am fully vaccinated and have a car, and am able to cook/meal prep as needed. Currently, I am available most evenings after 5:30 PM, and during the day on weekends.
