About Claudia

As a middle school teacher with 7 years experience in various grade levels, I would say I've developed a strong skill set in caring for children. As a caretaker you can expect me to be organized, on time, supportive with school work, kind, empathetic, and a strong communicator. I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, supportive. I like working with kids because they are always teaching us something new. Kids remind us that there's always a different perspective for viewing the world. I started working with kids in high school as a camp counselor. Moving into college I had the opportunity to volunteer in schools until I eventually began teaching in 2017. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, play instruments, bake, cook, and read. I love puzzles and exploring new places. My skills include problem solving, communication, and patience.
