About Colette

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, patient, enthusiastic. I like working with kids because I've always felt blessed to be a mother and enjoy making learning fun. I'm looking for a job that is typically, full-time, weekdays, with a realistic commute. I started working with kids as a teen-ager, always wanted a dozen, and was blessed with four. I volunteered at the children's' schools, became the go-to aunt for art projects, cooking, reading, and creating, and now everyone is grown. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, read, draw, experiment, sew, take walks, listen to music, give my dogs attention, practice Tai Chi, watch baseball or football, meet up with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I love children and enjoy helping them become their very best. My skills include many. I've run a school kitchen, was an art director, for a summer camp, and have held other positions.
