Kind, dedicated, compassionate, RN with high values and integrity. I have been in nursing most of my life. I feel it is my calling. I like the saying, "Save one life you're a hero save a hundred lives you're a nurse." I became a CNA at 16 years old. I went on to get my LPN, RN, and BSN. I left hospital bedside nursing 6 years ago to care for my dying mother at home until she passed. I also work in private home health care. My skills include: Registered nurse for 22 years, over 15 years primarily in ICU. Proficient in all aspects of nursing care. Skilled in comprehensive, high acuity home health care. Patient assessments, medication administration, wound, ostomy, and bowel care. Transfers, ADL, bathing, range of motion, stretching, strength training, and massage. Meal prep, tube feedings if needed, adherance to special needs safety and diet.
