About Corie

I am currently seeking part time childcare and tutoring opportunities for school aged children for the Summer of 2024. My availability is June 11 - August 16, after 1 p.m. each day through the evenings. Some weekends are available as well. I currently work as a 5th grade special education paraprofessional in the Upper Saint Clair School District, with students who need extra learning support during the school day, specifically in math and ELA (reading, grammar, writing). I am comfortable tutoring kids in grades preschool through 5th grade. Previously, I was an after school teacher with the Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program. My responsibilities included planning activities in all areas of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, music/drama), and assisting with homework for children in grades K-5. I have all Pennsylvania state required criminal and sex offender clearances, including the Department of Education and Department of Human Services FBI clearances.
