About Courtney

I'd describe my personality as caring, educated, and I have high expectations. I'm looking for a job that allows me to spend more time with my daughter as part of my job while also doing something I care about more than my current position. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, doing babysitting gigs for family members. I worked as a nanny for a year before I got a job as a teacher. I've been a middle school teacher for the past 4 years. I have a daughter of my own as well, so I have experience with a newborn and infant. In my spare time, I like to read, travel, and spend every minute I can with my daughter! One thing you should know about me is I will treat your children the same way I treat my own. I will have the same expectations and use the same redirections. I will teach them manners and correct behaviors as necessary. But I will also take time to test their skills and hopefully teach them something new every day!
