I'm looking for a job that allows me to provide care and companionship for someone who can't be alone or needs a little extra help. I'm looking to work in a clean home environment. I have worked in a special needs classroom for the last 9 years. Doing this work has helped me to be more patient. It has also helped me to be more understanding of how to help someone who wants to be independent but needs some assistance. I am not leaving my current job at the school so my availability is evenings only during school months & days during the summer. I am open to part time or one time care situations.

Crystal was hired to take care of my 87 year old mother who has dementia while I was on vacation. My mother was staying with my sister and we needed someone to watch my mom while my sister worked. When I returned, Crystal continued to watch my mom over the summer for me. Crystal was always punctual and even stayed later on some days. She would interact with my mother even though my mom could not always remember the right words. Crystal would make sure my mom was awake at a certain time, fixed her lunches, make sure she took her medication and entertained her. My mom loved when Crystal would come over and take care of her. Crystal continues to watch my mom on some evenings for me. I would highly recommend Crystal. She has simply been amazing for my mom and me.
