As a nanny I have homeschooled children more often than not. I'm familiar with all the programs they provide to give children in home education and have always enjoyed doing lessons with the kids I've worked for. When I was a bit younger I had a foster son I homeschooled that graduated with a 4. 0 GPA and has gone on to do incredible things with his life as an adult now. I believe having a caregiver or tutor be patient, kind, and encouraging can make all the difference in how children view education. When my son was still young I was always the room mother helping in his classes regularly with his teachers and absolutely loved getting to be apart and help with the students!
