My childcare experience began when I was a teenager. In my early 20's while married and stationed on Camp Pendleton Base in California I began my own in-home daycare as a way to help other military families and as a way to help my toddlers engage with others their age. During this time, I cared for no more than 6 children total at a time. Children ranging in ages 0-6 years old. Our days typically consisted of music, song, indoor play, crafts, clean up, developing motor skills, educational videos, reading, snacks, meals, potty training, bottle feedings, introducing baby foods, diaper changes, tummy time, singing etc..
