Hello, My name is Daisha! I am currently a 1st grade teacher and previously a 3rd grade teacher in Seattle Public schools. Before moving to Seattle I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education (2018). Shortly after graduating I moved to Las Vegas with the Teach For America program where I taught 1st grade for 3 years. While teaching in NV I completed my masters degree in Multi Cultural Education and an emphasis in TESL (teaching English as a second language). I am entering my 7th year teaching! Prior to teaching I have had experiences babysitting (short term), nannying (long term), pet sitting, house sitting, substitute teaching, and tutoring. I have worked with students birth-8th who have a variety of abilities in a range of different settings. I am passionate about fun and intentional learning.
