I've been actively involved in children's ministry in my church, where I've looked after multiple babies and toddlers. Additionally my personal experience is enriched daily with my own kids, I have a 4-year-old daughter and an almost 3-year-old son. Also, being the older sister of a Down syndrome taught me to be patient, loving, and being able to handle that kind of responsibility, and care that the little ones demands. I love crafts, reading, outdoors, and to keep kids engaged and entertained while they learn, grow and have fun. I support gentle parenting to help raise happy, independent and confident children through empathy, love, respect, grace, understanding and healthy boundaries, but I adapt and respect your parenting style and what your family values. If you are lucky enough to welcome her into your home, hang on to her tight! Writing this review is so hard because Dalila has been our nanny for the last two years and has truly become a part of our family! (We are moving to a new city or Dalila would be our nanny forever.) She started with our family when our first daughter when she was four months old and Dalila made the transition back to work as easy as possible. We had such peace of mind having someone we could fully trust watching our baby. Through the two years she has helped us through every milestone and has celebrated each with us along the way. Whether it was tummy time, starting solids, or first steps, Dalila helped guide us as first time parents while always respecting our personal preferences. She helped us welcome our second daughter this year and not only cared for our children but helped with postpartum care as well. The way she plays with and cares for our daughters has been such a joy and every morning she comes our oldest daughter sits at the door to wait for Dalila to come play - you can't put a price on that! Dalila has been such a blessing to our family and we are forever grateful to have had her help raise our babies.
