I have cared for children since I was 16. I started out with church nursery and babysitting for friends. Over the past three years I have worked as an after school care teacher and a camp counselor. My approach to childcare is centered around patience, creativity, and friendliness, creating a nurturing environment where children can feel safe. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring they receive regular updates about their child's day and any concerns that arise. Currently I am attending college and am home for the summer in Placerville. I am open to any type of help you and your family may need. As an outgoing person, I am flexible and willing to be put to work. Growing up my mom and dad taught me good work ethic as I helped my dad with his business and my mom around the house. I am available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until August 20. I do have a missions trip planned for July 6-21 so I will not be available those days.

Dana is an amazing sitter. She is thorough, respectful and my daughter who is going through some separation anxiety (8 month old) she had a blast with her. Dana updated me throughout the day and was a pleasure to work with. I would hire her again in an instant. She follows any schedule you want and has lot of experience with babies and kids. You won’t regret hiring her!
