About Darian

A long time babysitter/nanny and human services professional. Throughout high school and college I had cared for all ages of children ranging from 6 months old to 13 years old. Upon graduation I began my professional career as a Therapeutic Mentor where I completed individual treatment plans and organized activities that assisted my clients in achieving their rehabilitative and resiliency goals. As my time as a Mentor came to an end, I began a career as a Runaway and Homeless Youth Case Manager. In this position I responded to crisis calls for runaways and homeless youth at local police departments, hospitals, and schools. I facilitated family reunification meetings and on-site intervention for youth in need. As I move to Chicago this fall, I plan to end my crisis worker career and hope to nanny again! I have always been passionate about helping children and their families and hope to do so in a non-crisis setting. My expertise in childcare is not limited to one age group!
