I find it fulfilling to work with children and contribute towards their growth and development, with the hope that they can positively impact the world in the future. I started working with kids in 2018 right after working with mental health and older adults from 2014 to 2017. I believe in family values and consistency. As a childcare provider, I strive to maintain open communication with the families I work with and to ensure that there is consistency between home and childcare environments. I believe this will create stability, which can have a positive impact on children's well being and development. My skills include Patience: Children can be unpredictable and I am able to handle a range of behaviors and emotions with a calming manner. Flexibility: I adapt to changing situations and schedules and empathy. Communication: the ability to communicate effectively with children, their parents or guardians is essential for creating a safe and positive child care environment.
