About Dawn

I realized my real passion for caring for the elderly when my grandparent's needed more attention. It started with simply spending more time playing board games or cards, going on walks or just watching tv and cooking. Laundry and overnights were consistent. I naturally fell into the roll and am so grateful. My grandfather had a short battle with lung cancer and always said he just felt so much calmer when I was around. When my aunt was diagnosed with brain cancer I jumped right in and was by her side during her 16 month battle. I knew then that even though I didn't necessarily want to be a nurse there was still a place for me in caregiving. I have a lot to offer any family while supporting your loved one as a compassionate, companion and self taught chef. I often approach things with the right amount of whit and humor and find it important to keep one's dignity intact, especially at this often fragile stage in life.
