About Deanna

Hello! I am a local caretaker with a focus on baby in arms, under 2 years old, though I have experience with ages newborn to 6 years old. I have studied as a Postpartum Doula & caretaker and am passionate about home-birthing and families who are nature oriented, traditional and leading a more holistic life. I love making nature, gardening, music, food and learning a part of my daily interaction, and having the experience be more baby-led/child-led. I am passionate and resourced in physiological care. I am also a passionate home cook, using local and seasonal ingredients in my kitchen, and nourishing the body from deep within and sharing information to mamas who are looking to replenish their bodies after birth and support the growth of their baby. I have experience with baby-led weaning and preparing deeply nutritious foods for babies and children. I am excited to work with families that want more of a wholesome & nurturing female presence, and who find value in conscious childcare
