About Denice

I truly find one of the greatest fulfillment in life to be caring for and assisting others. My work experience includes; A 50yr old woman with progressive MS. A very dear 85yr old woman debilitated from a stroke. A 60yr old woman with Parkinson's. A 90yr old gentleman and his 70yr old wife both recovering from injuries. Responsibilities that I have had with clients include complete transfers, gait belt assisted walking, ALL toiletries, occupational therapy, transportation, shopping, cooking, discussing news events, TV, and reading books together. I have experience using a peg/feeding tube. I have worked with clients developing dementia and those becoming bedridden. I have worked along side a nursing staff. All of this sound very solom, but I really like keeping positive. Life can be very enjoyable no matter what the circumstances. I try to bring that attitude, along with practicality, to each client. I am a graduate of SWVT's CNA program and I am CPR Certified.
