I realize the importance of needing companionship or just keeping loved one engaged in conversation. In my spare time, I like to be with my husband, 3 adult sons & their sweethearts. Attend live theater, musicals, comedy shows & concerts. Go to lunch/dinner/movies with friends. One thing you should know about me is before retiring I oversaw Cemeteries which I was dealing with families sometimes during the worst times of there life, because of that I feel I have so much empathy & compassion. I have taken informative sessions through the COA & completed "Dementia Friends" course. Learning to be kind & patient with elderly & try to be creative in finding an alternative to a challenge.
